Over the time that Congleton Pride has been running we’ve conducted surveys asking local people about their attitudes and beliefs about LGBTQIA+ people, and what Congleton is like for them as a place to live, work and socialise. Repeating the survey has helped us to keep track of changes over the years.
We’ve just published the results of our third survey, conducted in 2026.
Each time, we split the questions into two separate surveys: the first about attitudes to LGBTQIA+ people held among the general population of Congleton, and the second about the experiences and views of LGBTQIA+ people themselves. All information is collected anonymously.
